This interactive workshop aims to equip you as a dental educator with the knowledge and skills to design interprofessional simulated patient (SP) encounters that simultaneously integrate content from multiple courses. In a safe learning environment, learners are nurtured and empowered to develop and demonstrate knowledge acquisition, communication, and critical thinking skills. SP exercises have been demonstrated to be a useful instructional instrument and an effective formative and summative assessment tool.
