Walking a mile in a student’s shoes is a new method of calibrating faculty. Continuing from our ADEA 2023 workshop, faculty will learn strategies beyond lectures, discussions and handouts. A new strategy that immerses faculty in students’ reality, where demands of time and energy, and use of equipment and technology come to play. In this session, presenters will share strategies for assessing whether faculty are truly calibrated on the latest teaching and assessment methodologies in simulation and clinical practice. Through round table discussions, participants will develop hands-on strategies for calibrating faculty which can be applied to their respective institutions.
